Graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1997 and obtained a master’s degree in Private Law from Istanbul Commerce University, where he is currently pursuing doctoral studies. He began his career in 2000 at Pamukbank A.Ş., later working at Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. Legal Affairs Department, Finansbank A.Ş. general Litigation Unit, and most recently as Manager of the Contracted Offices Department at Anadolubank A.Ş. A certified mediator specializing in Labor Law, Mr. Durmaz has provided training on bank letters of guarantee through the Training Directorate of the Banks Association of Turkey and served as an Arbitrator at the Turkish Football Federation’s Dispute Resolution Board. He is the author of “Presentation of Bank Letters of Guarantee with Demand for Payment” and has extensive expertise in enforcement proceedings, bank guarantees, credit-related disputes, and debt restructuring negotiations.
