Graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1995 and obtained a master’s degree in International Commercial Law and European Union Law at Istanbul commerce University.
Between 1998 and 2024, he served in various roles within the Legal Affairs Department of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş., ultimately retiring as Head of Legal Affairs. He has also served as a Board Member at Trakya Yatırım Holding A.Ş., Milli Reasürans A.Ş., and Efes Varlık Yönetim A.Ş.; as a Member of the Institute Board at the Ankara University Institute of Banking and Commercial Law Research; and as an Arbitrator at the Turkish Football Federation’s Dispute Resolution Board. Mr. Haznedar has extensive expertise in banking-related litigation and enforcement, monitoring of bank credit receivables, banking crimes, collateral law, restructuring and debt iquidation, real estate law, and enforcement and bankruptcy law. He is the author of several books, including “Surety Law for Bankers”, “Mortgage Law for Bankers”, “Negotiable Instruments Law for Bankers”, and “Commercial Enterprise Pledge and Its Monetization”, and has contributed articles to various legal journals.
