İsmail Haznedar has 30 years of banking experience, the last 20 of which were at Yapı ve Kredi Bankası. Having begun his banking career in 1994 as an assistant inspector, İsmail Haznedar worked at Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, serving as Branch Manager, Head of the Credit Support Department, Regional Manager of Commercial Banking, and Director of the Sales Group. İsmail Haznedar is a founding partner of Corporate Governance and Financial Consultancy Inc.
He served as Head of the Finance Group at Altınhas Holding A.Ş. between March 2021 and September 2024. He continues to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Albank Ltd. (TRNC), which is part of Altınhas Holding, and as a Board Member of Birikim Varlık Yönetimi A.Ş. and Akfactoring A.Ş.
İsmail Haznedar has extensive experience in Commercial and Corporate Banking, Auditing, and SME Banking.
During his tenure, he served as a manager in the investment and acquisition financing of large-scale companies and SMEs, including numerous hydroelectric power plants, wind power plants, and solar power plants, as well as in the privatization processes of thermal power plants and electricity distribution.
During his tenure at Altınhas Holding, İsmail Haznedar gained experience in the IPO process with Birikim Varlık Yönetimi A.Ş. (Birikim Varlık Yönetimi A.Ş.). He played an active role in the asset and liability management, investment decisions, and credit committee processes of Albank Ltd., the fastest-growing bank in the TRNC.
During his tenure as Aegean and Mediterranean Regional Manager at Yapı ve Kredi Bankası between 2012 and 2015, he managed numerous hotel investments and acquisition financing processes in the tourism sector.
During his tenure as Nuruosmaniye branch manager, he gained extensive experience in gold banking.
As Head of the Credit Support Department, he led the team that prepared and presented companies to the Credit Committee.
